Foreword by Penelope Smith
For the first time in recorded human history, books on how to telepathically communicate with animals are now widely available. Countless stories, articles, photos, and video productions featured in the media show animals' intelligent communication, open heartedness, and compassion for each other and for humans.
Scientific research now validates the myriad "languages" of animals and shows other species' complex, purposeful, intelligent behavior.
Telepathic communication deepens understanding of all other forms of communication and is a universal, inborn ability. Tele- means "distance" and -pathy means "feeling," so telepathy is the ability to feel or sense across a distance. Telepathy adds a direct perception of animals' feelings, emotions, senses, viewpoints, and thoughts to our understanding of other species. Individuals of all species are born with the ability to telepathically communicate. Although its existence is often denied and socialized out of humans in favor of verbal language, this precious gift that unites us through understanding other beings can be regained.
When I started to practice professionally as an animal communicator in the 1970s, there were only a few people in the world who were known as animal communicators and we all lived in California. For decades, I spread the knowledge, appearing on countless radio and TV programs and in magazine and newspaper articles and teaching animal communication around the world. My classic book, Animal Talk, first published in 1982, is still going strong, having also been published in over fifteen foreign languages.
Many people who were interested in developing their animal communication skills took the training courses I developed in how to communicate telepathically with animals. By the late 1980s, a growing number of people began to offer professional animal communication services. Now, there are many animal communicators practicing and teaching around the world.
Fortunately, many are well-trained, deliver excellent service, and also follow the Code of Ethics for Interspecies Telepathic Communicators I published in 1990. I consider these dedicated animal communicators as points of light, each bringing the good news that we are connected, we are one life, and we of all species can communicate with each other mind to mind, heart to heart, and soul to soul through the universal doorway of telepathic communication.
Each person brings their own background and unique contribution to the field.
Leiah Bowden shares the messages she has received from animals that have profoundly inspired her. She explains telepathic communication as a soul to soul exchange and how the processes of human body and mind and ideas of self can get in the way of reception. She conveys her own unique journey of awakening to her telepathic ability. The myriad communication experiences she has had with animals take her into a "loving, bright universe." Enjoy a spiritual journey of wonder with her as you read her book and learn from our animal friends.
